01 Aug Branding: get noticed!
At Creative 7, we are constantly working on branding ideas and solutions for our existing and new clients. When well done, a branding strategy is the tool to make you standout in your business field. Often times, however, people do not quite understand the full meaning of branding and what it involves. Simply put, branding is your business ID card. It is the uniqueness behind your business, your product or your service. It tells yours (potential) clients what they can expect from your services and products, and it sets you apart from your competitors.
This is the reason why branding is so much more than just a logo and a website. When you are thinking about branding, you need to focus on your corporate identity: from your logo, yes, your website, yes, but also telling your story (see previous post on storytelling in business), how present you are in social media, how it will allow you to get new customers easier, how you will advertise your company, product or service. Above all, it is important to remember that branding creates simultaneously loyal customers and loyal employees because they will believe in it and will stand behind it.
What if you’ve been in business for many years and feel that maybe it is time to rebrand. What does this rebranding process consist of? Are there any signs that it is time for a rebrand? It can be a reason for some stress to suddenly think about the rebranding process, but it can also be a rewarding one if it brings business benefits. In other words, in order to adapt to today’s fast paced, always changing technological society, rebranding your business is a means to give it new life when done for the right reasons. It needs to be focused on marketing strategies, on creative concepts and on adapting to new consumer needs.
Remember: your brand is the key into understanding the purpose of your business. It allows you to design a marketing plan with your business objectives. It needs to last to create customer loyalty.
